Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Balls!

If you're anything like me, you must have an insane weakness for chocolate and peanut butter. The very mention of chocolate and I start salivating! How could I eat my two favourite things in the world, while staying healthy and even getting some protein into them? AND THEN IT CAME TO ME - chocolate & peanut butter protein balls. These small orbs of goodness will have you fighting not to eat them all at once, and best of all? They taste delicious and are a great healthy snack (though not everyday!)

Delicious protein balls - great for on the go! 



- 1 tbsp of honey

- 1/2 cup of oats

- 1/2 scoop of chocolate whey protein powder ( I used optimum nutrition hydro-whey)

- 2 tbsp of pb2 (powdered peanut butter that you can purchase from otherwise use normal peanut butter

- 2 tsp of almond milk

- 1 tbsp of cacoa powder ( or cocoa powder if you don't have the raw powder)

Optional -

shredded coconut or sprinkles


Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl, until it becomes creamy and thick. Ensure that the mixture is not too runny, otherwise it will not stick together. When happy with the consistency, roll the mixture into 8 equal balls. Then roll in sprinkles, shredded coconut, slithered almonds - whatever you'd like! Refrigerate for a few hours until set and then ENJOY!
