Why you NEED a Philips Airfryer in your life.

Three weeks ago, I was just your everyday, struggling home cook who somehow managed to burn microwave meals. Cooking has never been my forte, and whilst I bloody love it and give it a red hot go, I know I’ll never make it past the Masterchef preliminary stages (okay… I would never even make it to the trials!).

When I was given the chance to play with a Philips Airfryer, I absolutely jumped at the chance. I had so many questions - what is an airfryer, what does it do, how does it work, what can I cook?! The queries were endless, and when I was sent it I had no idea where to start.

After thorough googling and research, I came to the conclusion that you can literally cook nearly EVERYTHING in your Phillips airfryer. Have friends coming over? Quick, cook a homemade chicken schnitzel. Bake an apple pie. Craft the most perfect sweet potato chips of your life! If you can think of it, your airfryer has a 97% chance of doing it!

Thanks to its unique combination of fast and precise circulating hot air, an optimal temperature balance and a grill element it allows you to fry, roast, bake or grill all kinds of delicious food. Because you are only using air for frying, it is much safer and it saves you and your home from the smell of fried oil compared to a regular fryer. Thanks to the dishwasher-safe parts the Airfryer is also easy to clean!”


Here are a few incredible facts about why airfrying is such a perfect alternative to traditional frying/cooking/baking:

  • You don’t need oil to use an airfyer. Thanks to the hot air circulation at such a rapid base, oil is rendered useless. This leaves your food not drenched in oil, but crisp and not at all greasy.

  • The unique air circulation system means that your dish will have up to 80% less fat than if cooked in a normal fryer. I don’t know about you, but this is MASSIVE for me. I always seem to over do it when it comes to trying to cook the perfect sweet potato chips.

  • With an adjustable timer & temperature, it means you can pop your food in the airfryer and get other tasks done while it’s cooking. No need to check on it - your food will be cooked evenly and perfect, and when the timer is done it automatically stops.

  • It’s SUPER fast. Where it normally takes up to 40 minutes to cook proper crispy fries, I can get mine done in my airfryer in 15 minutes. It’s the perfect alternative for people that are always on the go.

  • I hate cleaning after I cook, and the Philips airfyer makes it so ridiculously easy to clean up. You pull out the one mesh tray, give it a wipe down and BAM you’ve got a clean Airfryer again.

  • It makes you look like a pro. For someone that can barely cook, I feel like my cooking skills have reached new heights after playing around with my Airfryer.
