There are SO many fads that fly past us these days that we often miss the real deal! I've always been a massive advocate for coconut water, and love putting it in smoothies, my cereal or just drinking it straight!



The Benefits of Coconut Water
- It's 100% natural, no additives or sweeteners! Make sure you get a brand that says under 'ingredients' that it only says coconut water, nothing else!
- Due to the low amount of carbohydrates and sugar, coconut water is extremely low in calories! It is normally around 15 calories per 100ml.
- Coconut water boasts a great amount of vitamins and minerals, including; zinc, iodine, manganese, selenium, boron and sulfur.
- It's often dubbed 'nature's gatorade' as it has natural electrolytes in it.
- Some say coconut water can actually slow down ageing! They claim it can promote smoother, more youthful-looking skin. 
- According to the UN, coconut water's chemical profile is SO similar to blood plasma that it has been used intravenously to save lives in developing countries and WW II.
